CANDACE BRAKEWOOD

Candace Brakewood is currently a Doctoral Student in the Engineer Systems Division at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she studies the use of new information and communication technologies to improve public transportation systems. She has conducted research for transport providers throughout the world, including Chicago, London, Singapore, and most recently, New York. Prior to MIT, Candace worked as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.
